How to clean our brushes

Although it may not be visible to the naked eye, product residue, dirt, bacteria and much more that you can imagine accumulate in the hair of the brushes. To prevent your skin from coming into contact with all of the above, we explain how to clean our brushes properly. Get them all ready and let's get started!

Brushes are essential tools to carry out high-level makeup and you must take care of them as they deserve, cleaning is a fundamental requirement.

How often do I clean them?

It depends on each brush and the use you give them.

Example of daily use:
Makeup and concealer: once a week.
Powders and blush: every 15 days.
Eyes: once a month.

Step by step to clean our brushes

1. Take your brush and wet your hair in warm/hot water. Vertically, important.
2. Next, put a small amount of pH-neutral soap in the palm of your hand and rub your brush against it, using gentle circular movements. Rinse with water—that is, turn it upright—and repeat the same operation until it comes out completely clean.
3. Finally, remove excess water with paper and let it dry horizontally on a flat surface. Keep in mind that if you leave it with the hair up, moisture could seep under the glue on the handle and the brush would end up getting damaged, the metal part rusting and even the bristles rotting. A tip: to avoid deformation when drying, make sure that the bristles are outside the support surface. It will be very easy if you place it on the edge or edge of a table, for example. Do not store them while they are damp and much better if they air dry.
