Hello #luzeros or future #luzeros,
After years in the world of skincare, I want to share some valuable advice about retinol. I know that many of you are already using it and are looking to increase the concentration without risks. Today, I am presenting a safe and effective way to do so.
The Power of "La Luz"
Today we are going to show you one of the qualities of "La Luz" to increase the concentration of pure retinol, effectively and safely, while maintaining all the benefits of a higher concentration of retinol. The key is to mix pure retinol with a few drops of "La Luz," a retinoid suitable for all skin types, in the palm of your hand.
Initiation guide for increasing concentration
The first thing we must remember is that any change in our skincare routine should be gradual. Retinol is powerful, and our skin needs to adapt over time.
How to move up from 0.3% Pure Retinol?
If you have been using 0.3% pure retinol for more than 5 or 6 months, it is time to increase the concentration safely for our skin while maintaining all the benefits. How do we do it?
To do it correctly, place four or five drops of 0.3% pure retinol in your hand and then add four drops of "La Luz." Mix well and apply this mixture to your clean, dry skin.
How to move up from 0.3% Pure Retinol + La Luz?
If you have been using 0.3% pure retinol + La Luz for between 9 and 12 months, it is time to increase the concentration safely for our skin while maintaining all the benefits. How do we do it?
To do it correctly, put a little more than half a pump of 0.5% pure retinol in your hand and apply it to your clean, dry skin.
How to increase the concentration of 0.5% Pure Retinol?
For the most experienced users, this would be our strongest step up, equivalent to increasing to 0.8% - 0.9% pure retinol but with the safety of La Luz, a formula designed for all skin types that have tolerated pure retinol without problems, and which is much less aggressive than 1% retinol while still maintaining all its benefits.
If you have been using 0.5% pure retinol for more than 6 months, it is time to increase the concentration safely for our skin while maintaining all the benefits. How do we do it?
To do it correctly, put one pump of 0.5% pure retinol in your hand and then add four drops of "La Luz". Mix well and apply this mixture to your clean, dry skin.
Where NOT to use Retinol
It is essential to know where NOT to apply retinol. Avoid applying it to the neck and décolletage, as these areas are prone to irritation and chronic inflammation. You will always continue to use "La Luz" in that area, our retinoid specially formulated for sensitive or rosacea-prone skin, which is suitable for the neck and décolletage.
Furthermore, never use retinol on the eye contour, as retinol migrates. This means that if you apply it to other areas of the face, it will also have an effect on crow's feet, wrinkles, and expression lines around the eyes, and it will do so safely. However, if you deliberately apply it to the eye contour, keep in mind that it will migrate toward the eye area, which could cause irritation. It is important to keep retinol away from this delicate area.
Notable Results
By following these steps, you will notice results gradually. Your skin will benefit from the higher concentration of retinol safely.
Throughout my career in skincare, I have learned that patience and wisdom are essential. Increasing the concentration of retinol can be exciting, but it requires caution. "La Luz" is an effective tool to achieve this safely.
